David J. Matty
Graduate of John Carroll University, 1976; and Cleveland State University, Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, 1979.
Mr. Matty’s legal experience is in the areas of estate planning, closely held corporations and partnership law, tax law, real estate law, municipal law, and probate administration. Mr. Matty presently serves as Law Director for the City of Solon and represents several other municipalities in the capacity of Special Counsel to Regional Councils of Government. He served as Law Director for the City of Rocky River from 1989 to 2005 and currently serves Rocky River in the capacity of Special Counsel. He is a former Assistant Law Director for the Cities of Rocky River and North Royalton. Mr. Matty is a member of the Cleveland and Ohio State Bar Associations and has served as President of the Cuyahoga County Law Directors’ Association.
